Guest blogpost: Yael's lookbook

Hi everybody!
I'm Yael, I blog over at www.yaelnuvaira.com, and I'll be guestposting today on Emily's blog! I'm thrilled to get to do this for her, and very thankful that she wrote a guest post for my blog too.
Since my blog is about my life, but also about fashion, I thought it'd be kind of fun to write a Lookbook post today.
I've compiled different pieces to make three outfits, I think would be perfect for a few summer occasions. Enjoy!

Day Out
Whether you're running errands or going to spend time with a friend, overalls are perfect for the occasion. I have a pair of shortalls that I love, they're so stylish yet so comfortable, & can be styled in lots of different ways. I styled these Topshop shortalls with this cute but simple striped Bethany Mota top underneath it. The print under the overalls adds some flair, & I thought these Modcloth oxfords added the finishing touch. For the accessories I added this Bethany Mota flower crown, cat eye sunglasses from Zero UV, & a pale pink nail color from Forever 21 to finish off the look.

Dress It Up
Sometimes you have to dress up a bit when you go somewhere, but you don't exactly need to be formal. For this look, I picked out a festival-style dress from Modcloth that can be dressed up or down. To dress it up, I paired the dress with this hot pink blazer from H&M and these bright blue flats from Lulu's for a pop of color. To top everything off, Forever 21 came to the rescue with super cute heart earrings, a beaded headband, and this blue nailpolish that perfectly matches the shoes.

Back To School
I know it feels like summer went by too fast, but back to school is coming! A lot of this is actually going to be my first day of school outfit, but I did add a few items that I thought really completed the look. Bethany Mota helped me out when she released her new fall collection, complete with this plaid skater skirt and Say cheese shirt. For shoes, I picked these black ankle boots from American Eagle which are super trendy right now. You can't go to school without a backpack to keep all of your books in right? Don't worry, because I've got you covered. This black leather backpack from Forever 21 is stylish but still big enough to carry all of your supplies. To complete the look, I picked out a pink Forever 21 bow, plus a few of my favorite Alex & Ani bangles. You'll be the Queen of School style this year thanks to all of these great pieces!

That's all for my post! Thanks for reading, & if you'd like to hear more from me, please head over to my blog & follow it so you receive every new post. I loved writing for you Emily, maybe we can collaborate again soon!

xx,
Yael!
